I’m Sibel Taşkın Şimşek and I’m one of your teachers.

I’ve been teaching English since 1993. I worked at Bilkent University (for 9 years) and Bilgi Univ

ersity (for 6 years) before I started working here.

I am interested in using technology both in and outside class. That’s why I wanted to share my blogging experience  with you. We are going to do a lot of things here; reading, watching, listening, chatting, writing and many other things. I hope you will enjoy this experience.

I’m from Mersin, married and I have got a 12 year old daughter. I like watching movies, reading books, magazines, traveling, listening to Jazz, rock and classical music. I also like going to concerts.

I wish you good luck and success  at Sabancı University.

I’m looking forward to meeting you and working with you.
